Final Chair

Due to me being absent i was not able to have my chair in on time. However in worked hard in completing it as a single induvidual without having my group members. This was my outcome of my cardboard chair and i am proud of it. However it was not able to hold the weight of 200 pounds but it did get completed.

February 23 2012

Today my group began cutting out the cardboard box to construct a cardboard chair. I continued to work on the powerpoint presentation. I think we might have a possiblility of properly constructing a cardboard chair. The project its self is due on Monday. I believe that i am going to tke the porject home and work on it and hopefully i can build an "A"!!!

Today my group and i began on our project we started creating our chair out of card board. We created dimensions as to what the  chair would equal out to in length and width!! My group is ready to construct.We showed our deminsions to mrs.Ngyuen and she approved. Our due date for the chair is february 27!! I hope my group and I can meet our deadline.

Today in class were working on what was started and hopefully my group can move foward with the project. We also recieved our grades and i was very pleased with mines however I had been working hard for my grade theirfore i didnt expect anything less!! Im excited to finish up today and i look foward to starting on prototypes momentarily.

2. Luis: 2-4 sentences on rough sketches, vocabulary, final sketch, isometric sketch, and orthographic projection sketch
3. Ivan: 2-4 sentences, dcision matrix chart, and 4-6 sentences on why we choose the specific chair

Frebruary 2012 Entry 3

Due Date! My group as well as other team members have reached our dead line!! Paes 1-3 are due! I honestly feel comfortable in turning in our work! I did majority of the work theirfore i know its some what right!! My team members seem cool about it then again they did put to much into it! Their more laid back. They could careless if it gets done or not! This project will be bumpy and i can say this already im anixous to see whats ahead!!

Today in class I finished my modle. As a group we assigned members certain parts. I took on the name and the charge to be the team leader. I feel much confortable knowing that I play this part cause it lets me know that the task will be completed. My chair that you see above is a modle that was created out of index cards. This specific model can hold a weight of a cup filled with glue and markers. I turned my finished modle in today and i believe that i will recieve a good grade. Im ready for Thursday to come to check the progress of my team memebers work that i had assigned to them.

Cardboard Chair Entry1

January 26th 2012
Today in class we made a model of our cardboard chair out of index cards. This specific task was hard for me personally because i wasnt able to master the concept out of paper. My team members was able to to it and i did get ideas form tem as well as others. I plan to finish my model at home this weekend! In class today we also recieved our deadlines as to when certain assignments are to be turned in. Im actually nervous as to how this whole project is going to turn out. I will not settle for anything less than an "A". My group members seem to be some what consistant, together i believe overall i will recieve a good job on this project!!
